Yogonet.com interviewed Matt Jellicoe, Director and Founder of Offsidegaming.
What has been the performance of Offsidegaming in Latin America during the last year? How do you evaluate your work in this region so far?
Latam is still very much an emerging market in internet gaming, and the market is certainly 5 or 6 years behind the European market still. That being said, we are pretty happy with the partners we have signed and are well positioned for future growth. In particular we are very excited about the Peruvian market for 2013.
How have progressed the partnership with Tristar International and Elygra Online? Both partners are still a core part of our strategy in their respective markets.
What services and products have you developed for Miljugadas.com?
Sportsbetting is still the key focus, we recetly added the Evolution Live casino to the platform which is performing well.
Last year Offsidegaming were the iGaming sponsor of SAGSE Buenos Aires, what is the potential of this market segment in Agentina? What could you observe?
Argentina is a core market for the region, and we will be back again this year 100%.
What are the peculiarities of this country?
Argentina is obviously the most European of the Latam markets. The product that works there is closer to the European sports product. Some projects we are looking at currently in markets such as Panama require a US sports offer which is very different pricing and betting format.
What are your plans for the coming months?
The first big focus for the company is upgrading our Live sports offer to over 4500 events per month which will give us one of the strongest offers in the global market. Secondly we are launching our shop platform in a number of global markets – we have a very competitive offer for retail betting moving forward.
