(Macau).- SJM Holdings has received official approval from the Macau government for its planned megaresort on Cotai. The project was published this week in the government’s Official Gazette, the last of the six casino concessionaires’ planned resorts to get the go-ahead in the burgeoning resort district.

(Macau).- China State Construction International has signed a us$ 1.35 billion deal to act as the main contractor on the construction of MGM Cotai. MGM China Holdings said that the work on the new venue would be done by two wholly owned CSCI units – China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) and China Construction Engineering (Macau) Company.
