(Ireland).- Plans have been announced to build a Las Vegas-style village in Ireland, with a replica of the White House as the centrepiece. The 460 million euro project will include a casino, National Hunt race course, five-star hotel, 7,000 seater greyhound track, golf course and 15,000 seater concert venue.
The Murcia Council backs the idea of modernizing gaming administrative procedures
(Spain).- The regional government of Murcia has approved the draft of the Gambling Regulation Act in this region, which includes the rules for betting shops. This was announced by Inmaculada García, Councillor of Economic Affairs of Murcia, after meeting of the Governing Council.
(Spain).- Intralot has closed its its “betting corners” in most of Madrid bingo halls responding to a strategic decision, and, after certain differences with casino businessmen, they have reached an agreement in principle to conclude the contracts. The multi-year contract commences this month
(Spain).- A joint venture between Lottomatica Group subsidiary Gtech Global Lottery SLU and Spanish integrated logistics operator, Logista S.A, has been awarded a multi-year contract to provide lottery services to Organizacion Nacional de Ciegos de Espana (ONCE), worth 50 million euros in annual revenues to Gtech.
