(UK).- A mystery investor has acquired a near 3% stake in Ladbrokes for 44.2 million euros (us$ 59 million), sparking fresh speculation of a possible takeover bid for the UK bookmaker. The UK’s Daily Telegraph newspaper said that the investor is Playtech founder Teddy Sagi, who made the deal either through his own account or that of Playtech, in which he holds a 49% stake.
(UK).- Ladbrokes has announced the appointment of David Martin as a Non-executive Director with effect from 31 October 2013. His appointment follows the decision by John Jarvis CVO, CBE to announce his retirement from the board at the group’s AGM in 2014, which was announced earlier this year.

A collaboration agreement

Australasian Gaming Expo scheduled for August 12-14, 2014

Health Lottery Plus to introduce £ 1 bet
