(UK).- TransAct Technologies informed that it has signed a new contract to install the Epicentral Print System at the Hippodrome Casino, located in London’s historic Leicester Square. The system will be connected to all 144 electronic gaming machines, including both slot machines and electronic table games, and is projected to go live in the second half of 2013.

(UK).- Professional poker player Phil Ivey is suing UK's oldest casino for refusing to pay him us$ 11.3 million in winnings. Ivey said he was 'deeply saddened' to file a writ at the High Court but he had been left with no alternative. (UK).- Online gambling firms will be required to hold a licence in Britain in order to advertise and sell their games to British customers under new laws. The Gambling (Licensing and Advertising) Bill aims to give customers more protection when using online poker and other websites operated by companies based offshore.
