Interview with Alexander Rodriguez, General Manager, Alfastreet Colombia

A few days ahead of the upcoming Colombian trade show, Yogonet spoke with the company's General Manager for Alfastreet Colombia about his expectations for this year's edition.

uring the interview, Alexander Rodriguez delved into the latest releases and innovations Alfastreet will be exhibiting at the event.

FADJA 2019 is scheduled to take place on April 10-12 at Corferias Convention Center in Bogotá, Colombia. Alfastreet will be there to discuss the latest trends in the industry, the importance of the Colombian market for international and national operators, especially regarding the latest changes in legislation and to showcase its portfolio of known products and innovations.

What innovations for LatAm markets can we expect from Alfastreet at FADJA 2019?

Alfastreet is continuously developing new products and innovations as part of our quality seal. For this FADJA we are bringing a new concept in design for the roulette, which is the Lucky 8, with a beautiful design, nice lighting, exceptional finishing but preserving the same hardware as our best product which is the R8. Also, we will show the Multitouch roulette, which is a new product where operators can switch from automated electronic roulette to a live game, with a normal dealer making the exciting show on live roulette, and turning back to automated when casino wants it.

On IT develop, we are launching our Customer App, which will help operators to check everything regarding their Alfastreet products, such as orders, technical service and all kind of request.

What are your key expectations for the show, regarding the number of visitors, new deals, launches, trends, and networking?

FADJA is the center for all operators in Colombia, and we expect a high volume of known customers, and also new ones who will be visiting us to see our new products and launches. Regarding deals, of course, this platform serves for closing all deals coming, as part of our commercial labor on all the preceding year.

Regarding networking and trends, we are presenting our Customer Service App, which will help the customers to enter the technology trend for a better follow up on their operations.

What do you think visitors will be looking to talk to Alfastreet about, especially regarding Colombia’s prospects?

The main issue regarding Colombia, is as previous years, the change in legislation for a fair tax imposition on operators and a real strategy to fight the illegal operations. We have been invited, with other main industry actors, to be part of forums with the government to check together how can we cooperate for this objective.

Will you organize or attend parallel activities before, during or after FADJA, given it’s your 25th anniversary?

Yes, all around the year we have 3 private encounters with customers in different cities of Colombia, such as Medellin, Cartagena and one more in Bogota. For this 25th anniversary, we have a special invitation for all the people who have trusted in our brand for these years.
