The 2019 Peru Gaming Show offered an excellent opportunity for us to share Konami’s latest multi-game options and jackpot game innovations for the Concerto line. In addition, we had the pleasure of meeting with many fantastic customers in the region to speak one-on-one about their latest business goals, concerns, and initiatives.

Which of the company’s products attracted the most attention from attendees?

Konami’s new’s Charm linked progressive attracted attention for its SeleXion multi-game compatibility, multi-denom options, and 5-digit Maxi progressive. It allows players to enjoy a mix of popular Konami base games—including Chili Chili Fire, Golden Power Ingots, and Volcanic Rock Fire Twin Fever—with an exciting mystery trigger jackpot chance in every spin.

In recent months we have received good feedback and performance data for the newest SeleXion-compatible base games. This includes Multiple Lines 15 REELS games such as Lion Carnival, Sparkling Roses Multiplier Blast, and Great Guardians—all of which were shown this year during PGS. Games with multipliers features, such as Cobra Hearts, Nouveau Fruit, and Great Moai, are also strong favorites out of PGS. In addition, we showed games with credit collect features like Diamond Raider and A’Coins Matey!, which give players the opportunity to claim instant credit prizes.

What’s your opinion on the 2019 edition of the trade show? Has it met your expectations?

PGS is an important annual event that allows us to connect with casino customers in the region. As in years past, Konami was pleased for the opportunity to reinforce those connections, demonstrate our continued commitment to Latin America, and gather important one-on-one feedback from the operators we serve.

Which products, services or innovations were premiered at the event?

The 2019 Peru Gaming Show featured the premiere of several new Konami titles for operators to experience firsthand, including Diamond Raider, Nouveau Fruit, Sparkling Roses Multiplier Blast, and Wild Current. This year also marked the PGS debut of the Magician’s Charm linked progressive.

Could you detail your current presence in the Americas and your future plans in the region?

A key component to Konami’s strong presence in Latin America has long been the success of our SeleXion multi-game offering. In addition to supporting a mix of titles on one machine, Konami’s SeleXion hosts a diverse library of game options to cater to today’s players. From new symbol-driven games like Diamond Raider, to exciting multiplier feature games like Cobra Hearts, Konami empowers players and operators across Latin America to enjoy a strong mix of entertainment in one place. Due to the quality of its library and depth of options it provides, SeleXion empowers operators across Latin America to really make the most of today’s multi-game technology. Even as the gaming industry in Latin America has grown significantly, an important focus still remains on positive partnership and long-term machine value. For this reason, Konami’s future product for the region is focused on game options with the greatest long-term value for casinos.

In terms of partnerships, our sights are set on supporting existing connections with local operators. Pacific Gaming, Konami’s exclusive distributor for Peru, and other neighboring distributors in the region such as Atlantic Venture and HMS Gaming are very good at building strong customer relationships and healthy long-term partnerships. They are a trusted extension of the Konami team.

What is the next event you are planning to attend?

Looking ahead, our next event in South America will be GET in Paraguay, which takes place in mid-September.
