Aristocrat Gaming and MGM Resorts' Beau Rivage Resort & Casino have announced the opening of the Mississippi Gulf Coast’s first "Buffalo Zone", as already anticipated in February.
Located on the resort’s casino floor at the base of the convention level escalators, the new 1,500-square-foot ‘Buffalo Zone’ is dedicated exclusively to Aristocrat’s Buffalo-themed games. This room features 50 player-favorites, such as Buffalo Chief, Buffalo Max, Buffalo Gold, Buffalo Link, Buffalo Gold Revolution, and Buffalo Grand while complementing the 47 other Buffalo-themed games throughout the casino floor.
Beau Rivage President and COO Brandon Dardeau, said: "Beau Rivage is the first Gulf Coast casino to partner with Aristocrat Gaming to bring the 'Buffalo Zone' to the region. Buffalo games are extremely popular among our players and having the opportunity to create a special gaming section allows us to further enhance our guests’ gaming experience.”

Aristocrat’s Senior Vice President of Commercial Strategy and Data Analytics Jon Hanlin, added: "We're thrilled to partner with Beau Rivage to launch Mississippi's second 'Buffalo Zone'. We've had a great response since opening the first Buffalo Zone last summer at Beau Rivage's sister resort Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica and expect a similar reaction on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. Buffalo continues to be the strongest brand in gaming, and with Beau Rivage's new 'Buffalo Zone', players will enjoy their favorite Buffalo-themed games in one exciting place."
In February, MGM Resorts' Beau Rivage Resort & Casino announced that all hotel rooms would be remodeled by November along with new carpeting, lights, and wall coverings in hallways, and a former private dining room would be converted into a new room called ‘BuffaloZone’.
While improvements initially launched two years ago with the remodel of the suites at the venue, the refresh, which was intended to move quickly into the hotel rooms, was subsequently delayed amid the Covid-19 pandemic. It is now set to continue this year, and expected to end by November. In January, MGM Resorts announced the promotion of Dardeau as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Southeast operations, overseeing the Beau Rivage and also Gold Strike Casino Resort in Tunica, Mississippi.
