The Venetian Resort is closing down its Palazzo tower for the next couple of weeks due to lack of demand. Amenities in the tower will stay open, as will the casino.

Las Vegas Sands Corp. is quickly closing the Palazzo hotel tower efficient instantly due to a drop in occupancy on The Strip. The Palazzo tower will begin taking reservations again on December 23rd.

Most Palazzo eating places and bars will stay open, in addition to the parking storage and Grand Canal Shoppes. The on line casino will stay open with restricted desk video games.

Pay and advantages will stay in place for workers right now, the firm mentioned.

Several strip hotels including the Encore, Planet Hollywood, Mandalay Bay and Mirage currently have their hotel portions open Thursday nights through Monday morning, also due to slow demand. MGM Resorts International say they expect that Mandalay Bay and Mirage will have their hotel portions back open 7 days a week after the new year.
