Betcris Head of Business Development Fernando Garita will be a panelist along with Playtech Chief Policy Officer Francesco Rodano in a session moderated by Betmotion Brazil Country Manager Angelo Alberoni. In addition to the Latin American industry, the panel will also address how gaming legislation in the US is unfolding and what the online gaming scenario for Canada looks like for the year.

Gaming Americas hosts a series of virtual meetups to discuss how the industry is changing, and Fernando Garita, Head of Business Development at Latin American gaming operator Betcris, will participate in one of the important topics when the next Quarterly Meetup is held on January 28.

Garita will be a panelist for the "Debate: Is Latin America learning from the European mistakes?" discussion taking place next week. The seminar will be moderated by Betmotion Brazil Country Manager Angelo Alberoni and will also see participation by Playtech Chief Policy Officer Francesco Rodano. As Latin America's gambling industry is only now beginning to take shape, the panel will discuss how it is unfolding and what is expected moving forward.

Faced with different laws and regulations that vary from country to country, Betcris has worked at helping implement a regional gaming strategy that could be applied to all of Latin America. It has also been instrumental in developing protocols and policies that ensure greater integrity among operators, as well as sports organizations.

The panel will be held from 7 PM to 7:45 PM, East Coast time (9 PM to 9:45 PM Brasília Time, UTC -3). Registration to attend the virtual event is now open on the Gaming Americas website and, for those who are not able to attend, a subtitled recording of the English-language panel will be made available on the website 48 hours after the seminars have concluded.

The upcoming Quarterly Meetup will provide a deep look inside the global gaming industry. In addition to a focus on Latin American activity, which is a major part of the day's schedule, attention will also be given to how gaming legislation in the US is unfolding and what the online gaming scenario for Canada looks like for the year. As gaming becomes more prominent on the global stage, the meetup will also explore how the gambling industry is interacting with stock exchanges, as well as the interaction between land-based and virtual operations.
