BGaming has shared the results of the latest corporate report, and a poll conducted recently in a few reputable casinos. The provider highlighted key facts that characterize the iGaming market in the second quarter of the year.

According to a poll arranged by BGaming, PC and console games are also popular among slot amateurs, with almost 40% of the audience preferring to play both video games and online slots.

Bogdan Gres, Brand Manager at BGaming, said: “A similar number (36,98%) showcases that many players often bet on sports or esports. In the future, the tendency can stimulate the development of groundbreaking solutions combining two areas of entertainment.”

Mobile gambling continues to grow as desktop games are falling behind. The Q2 BGaming corporate report shows that 95,3% of players play slots on mobile devices, the share has increased by 1.08% in comparison to the Q1 data. The statistics from the same quarter of 2020 displayed the following number: 77,16%, reflecting the development process significantly.

Yulia Aliakseyeva, Game Producer at BGaming, stated: “When creating art visualizing features for a game, options for mobile devices are developed first. We pay much attention to the game's performance: graphics content optimization, animations, and effects. At the same time, the quality of games should remain high. A key challenge is to find a balance between quality and performance. The trend brings many changes. Games can be simplified in terms of content and effects, but at the same time, technology goes fast. For example, with the increasing availability of 5G technology, new opportunities open up for game developers.”

The poll’s results also confirmed that Elvis Frog in Vegas is the most recognizable slot game among the studio titles, due to various features such as Coin Respin bonus and three types of Jackpots.

One of the latest releases, Dig Dig Digger, and early Aztec Magic and Book of Cats slots, reached the top 5.
