Digital marketing agency MediaTroopers has secured a temporary sports betting supplier license from the state of Arizona, announced the company on Friday. The Temporary Event Wagering and Fantasy Sports Supplier permit was issued by the Arizona Department of Gaming, and resulting from the approval, the company can now expand its operations to the Grand Canyon State.
“MediaTroopers are beyond thrilled to have been given this prestigious license from the Arizona Department of Gaming,” said Sam Segal, MediaTrooper’s CEO. “We are mindful that along with this great opportunity comes significant responsibility to promote entertaining, and sage sports and casino betting to our customers.”
With the addition of Arizona, now the online gambling marketing agency has licenses to operate in 13 US states, including New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Indiana, Tennessee, Illinois, Michigan, Washington DC, West Virginia, Virginia, Iowa, and Wyoming. Its portfolio powers operations by US online casinos and sportsbooks including DraftKings, FanDuel, MGM, Golden Nugget Casino, and Bet Rivers.
“We pride ourselves in the ability to efficiently grow and reach new operators, adjusting our content from state to state, along with our extensive digital marketing capabilities,” added Segal. “We look forward to operating in Arizona and providing top-class service to betting operators.”
By entering new markets, MediaTroopers seeks to extend its reach to assist operators with the skills and knowledge to launch online successfully and mobile operations. The company also aims at delivering up-to-date news on sporting events, game predictions, sportsbook and online casino offers, and updates for sports betting, casino, and poker to a wider audience.
Sports wagering is now legal in 26 states and Washington, D.C., eight more than at the start of last season. Betting in Arizona launched in time for the new NFL season kickoff on Thursday, with DraftKings, BetMGM, FanDuel and Caesars among those operators that went live upon the market opening.

Meanwhile, Caesars has signed a partnership with MLB’s Arizona Diamondbacks, which will see the launching of a two-story sportsbook and sports bar at Chase Field next year. Temporary space using five ticketing windows has been opened in the meantime.
Arizona Governor Doug Ducey attended Thursday’s opening ceremony by Caesars and Diamondbacks, which included a $20K donation to the Arizona Diamondbacks Foundation and a ceremonial first bet.
