FBMDS has taken another step in its expansion strategy for the Spanish market by signing a new deal with VERSUS, the sports betting and online gaming brand of the Orenes Group, announced the company on Monday.
By having secured this deal, the online gaming provider will make its portfolio of games available in the online casino operated by VERSUS. It is part of an ongoing investment plan to achieve fast and significant growth in the Spanish market.
“FBMDS always tries to find players that can embrace its diversified portfolio of products and provide significant progress in terms of expansion,” said Pedro Filgueira, European Business Developer. “This deal fulfills all the criteria defined in our strategy.”
VERSUS ONLINE is a gambling company operating in the Spanish market since 2011, and VERSUS is the sports betting and online game brand of the Orenes Group. VERSUS currently has a strong presence both online and in retail, with more than 3,000 terminals through 890 points of sale distributed throughout the country.
Born as a family business in 1968, the Orenes Group has grown to become a referent brand in Spain, with the gaming operator present in all sub-sectors: sports betting and online gaming, casinos, bingos, gaming rooms, leisure centers, operation and commercialization of gaming machines and catering.
“The union with FBMDS allows us to expand the range of games in our catalog, with special emphasis on video bingos,” said Vicente Rabasco, Product Manager at VERSUS. “FBMDS video bingos are far superior to those we currently have in the Spanish market, so our users will be able to enjoy a unique experience.”
FBM Digital Systems first entered the Spain market via an integration deal with Tecnalis in late September, by which FBMDS will make all of its games available. The company will upload a portfolio of more than 30 titles to Tecnalis’ Alira platform, including video bingos, slots and table games.
“The FBMDS growth strategy is clear and points to different online markets in Europe,” stated the company in a press release last month. Within this plan, Spain has been identified as a clear target due to the constant growth of the market and high volume of iGaming activity.
FBM Digital Systems is land-based gaming company FBM’s project for the iGaming universe, aimed at leveraging the experience and technology gathered throughout FBM’s two decades of existence. FBMDS obtained a Malta Gaming Authority license earlier this year, and the brand seeks to make its games available in over 100 casinos by the end of the year.
