“The planning of the proposed legislation is such that the remote gaming bill will be discussed by the Lower House in March or April of this year. This means that the Senate will discuss the bill sometime after summer recess. If enacted, the new law will therefore be published at the earliest on January 1, 2017 and will then go into effect on July 1, 2017. Next, it depends on the Gaming Authority as to when the first remote gaming licenses will be issued.”
