Merkur Gaming delivered its biggest ever ICE presence and presented a star attraction with the international debut of its merkurstar cabinet.

Merkur Gaming gave a full international launch to the futuristic merkurstar cabinet that was shown for the first time at last year's G2E in Las Vegas.

The new merkurstar became an instant attraction to the visitors that thronged the Merkur Gaming booth right from the opening of the show on day 1 and the crowds that continued right up until the event’s closing on day 3.

Sakis Isaakidis, Senior Director, International Sales, said: “The response to merkurstar has been simply fantastic” he said, “and our visitors’ support and excitement at our new cabinet innovation strengthens our belief that merkurstar is all set to be a ‘must have’ product on the gaming floors of international casinos.”

The modern merkurstar upright cabinet stands out visually thanks to its modern design and the striking lighting effects along the edges of its two 24-inch monitors. Intelligent ergonomic design features, high-resolution HD technology and excellent sound all combine to guarantee perfect entertainment. Along with the cabinet release an all new, 11-strong, game mix also made its debut in London, presenting a broad range of high attraction game themes that ideally complemented the obvious attraction of merkurstar.

Avantgarde slant top also attracted great attention at ICE. The premium multi-game platform stands for realistic graphics and game animations in outstanding quality. The eye-catching frame illumination of the two 27-inch widescreen displays plus its straight contours characterize the Avantgarde slant top’s refreshing design.

The Gauselmann Group’s manufacturing company, adp Gauselmann, together with the British multi-platform developer Blueprint Gaming, the Merkur Dosniha company, responsible for the development and distribution of multi-game products in Spain, and - demonstrating the Group's sports betting expertise - the Cashpoint company and the XTiP brand were also represented. The Gauselmann subsidiaries edict egaming and money handling specialists GeWeTe had their own individual booths, located immediately adjacent to the Merkur Gaming stand itself. All of these reported a huge upswing in both visitor attendance and specific enquiries about their individual product portfolio offerings.

Member of the Board Jürgen Stühmeyer expressed his satisfaction with both the Merkur Gaming team and with the show itself: “ICE Totally Gaming has been a great success for our company, our brand and our exciting products: one that has been made possible by the efforts of our outstanding team and also by the excellence, in every aspect, of the show itself. As we move to enter new international markets our experience here will prove to be of great value and I am more convinced than ever that the Merkur Sun will be shining brightly as we go on to achieve our goals.”
