The Bermuda Casino Gaming Commission has formed a partnership with the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement to share information on gaming regulations.

In a statement this morning, the commission said the formalization of the co-operative relationship between the two bodies would help accelerate the regulatory process.

Richard Schuetz, executive director of the BCGC, said: “The DGE is one of the most well-respected regulatory agencies in the world.

“Our ability to work with them will allow us to expedite many regulatory processes, as well as helping us ensure that the people and firms-allowed to do business in Bermuda operate with the highest levels of character, honesty and integrity.”

The DGE was founded in 1977 and is responsible for overseeing the Atlantic City casino industry.
