The list was released by the Finance Ministry and includes a series of online gambling domains that are considered unacceptable and untrustworthy for operating in the country without a license.

The blak list includes some of the  largest gambling operators in the industry such as William Hill, bet365, 888Holdings, Bwin, Bet-at-Home and 1xbet.

The Finance Ministry has also revealed that special court orders would be needed in order to complete the process of blocking the domains in the upcoming weeks. Gambling companies that continue offering their services to local players would be imposed financial penalties amounting to up to €500,000.

The are also five remaining operators which had received warning notices and had been given 10 days to officially close their services in the country.

The Slovakian Government would begin enforcing new gambling regulatory rules, under which companies that operate under a online sports betting license would be forced to pay a tax, estimated to 27% of their gross gaming revenue.
