Businessman Seán Quinn launches sports betting product
Quinn's new sports betting website, QuinnBet, offers live odds on sports such as American football, boxing, soccer and horse racing.
According to reports, Quinn received a gambling licence this week. QuinnBet has accounts on Facebook and Twitter to promote the site and Quinn is said to launch an online casino section of the site in the next weeks.

Quinn owns the business and his son, Seán jnr, is the chief executive. His son-in-law, Stephen Kelly, is the chief financial officer.
FSB Technology, its partner in the project, has been responsible for the design of the website. The London-based comoany has also provided the risk management software.

Seán Quinn Sr was once considered Ireland’s richest man, with a fortune worth €4.7 billion. That was based on the Quinn Group’s operations across a range of sectors, including cement, glass, manufacturing and financial services.
