Most recently, Dever served as vice-president finance for the online B2B businesses at Amaya Gaming, now The Stars Group.
Dever also spent time with a number of other international firms, including CryptoLogic and Juniper Networks.
Harvey Lim, who had been serving as both chief financial officer and corporate Secretary at Global, has now stepped down.
Darcy Krogh, chief executive of Global, said, “I would also like to personally thank Harvey on behalf of the company for his financial stewardship up to this point and wish him well in his future endeavours.”
Dever added, “Global has a very exciting product in an industry with tremendous opportunity.
“I’m looking forward to contributing to the future success of company and working with Darcy again, and the experienced team he has assembled.”
