Cartamundi is mourning the sudden passing of its CEO Mr. Chris Van Doorslaer on Saturday, December 16th, 2017.
Mr. Van Doorslaer has been Cartamundi's CEO since 1997 and was the driving force behind the success of the company. Under his leadership, Cartamundi grew to become the true world leader in cards and games as it is today.
The Chairman of the Board, Mr. Jean-Louis de Cartier de Marchienne says: "the shareholders, the board of directors, the executive management and the entire workforce are deeply saddened and extend their sincere condolences to the family, relatives and friends."
Ad Interim, a Steering Committee has been installed under the leadership of the Chairman of the Board Mr. Jean Louis de Cartier de Marchienne and the Managing Director Frederic de Somer.
