Pennsylvania: January table games revenue saw 2.2 percent drop

January's gross table games revenue was USD 71,032,273 compared to the USD 72,610,202 generated by the 12 casinos during January 2017.

In accordance with a report published by the state's Gaming Control Board, gross revenue from gambling at table games during January 2018 was down 2.2 percent compared to January of last year, while overall casino gaming revenue fell 1.6 percent.

The report posted on Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board's website shows that this January's gross table games revenue was USD 71,032,273 compared to USD 72,610,202 in revenue generated by the 12 casinos during January 2017.

Total tax revenue from table games play during January was $11,421,189* with an average of 1,267 tables in operation statewide on a daily basis.

Gross table games revenue for each of the casinos for January 2018 and January 2017 is as follows:

The decrease in table games revenue coupled with the earlier reported 1.4% decrease in slots revenue for January resulted in an overall gaming revenue decrease for the month of approximately 1.6%, per the below table:
