A few weeks ahead of the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas, Wally Sa’d, Wells Gardner’s General Manager, unveiled the company’s focus and highlights for the event, which is being held across October 14-17 at Sands Expo.
Taking center stage at Wells Gardner’s booth this year will its curved product, along with its OLED technology. The executive stated they are constantly chasing after the latest in LCD technology, and that OLED will be the primary product going forward in the gaming vertical. "I can estimate that this technology will be widely used about 3 years from now, and we are trying to be forward-thinking and offer it now," Sa’d explained. "We showed the wireless charging integrated into the button deck 5 years ago ahead of everyone else, and now it is taking off with many OEM manufacturers."
The firm has also pledged to showcase other very interesting technology to a select group of customers under an NDA in a private setting.
As regards strategies developed to draw new generations of players, Sa’d said the company provides the means to their customers and they are the ones that create content aimed at luring younger players, but "we are definitely helping by providing the latest technology available."
Talking specifically about the show, Wells Gardner's General Manager said G2E is very important for the company as it allows them not only to share their innovations with customers, but also learn what they are looking for, and what other technologies are available to be explored. "At this year’s edition, our expectation is to demonstrate our clients that we are constantly innovating and marching along with them toward new ideas, and new concepts," he concluded.
Wells Gardner has just moved its facilities to Las Vegas to be closer to their clients, with new staff they have hired locally from the Las Vegas market. The CEO also revealed the company’s plans to relaunch its name and products.
