Genting UK has unveiled the results of a £1.6m (USD 2.1) refurbishment of its casino in Glasgow, which the venue underwent to improve its gaming facilities and to enhance the overall casino experience for the customer.
The main gaming area and Mahjong room have been given a full makeover and the new lighting and carpeting have helped to create a more welcoming environment for customers. The Casino is situated in a listed building and a number of the original features have been retained, including the stunning ceiling in the Mahjong room.
An additional gaming room has also been added to the facility with 20 new slot machines and ten electronic gaming terminals introduced. The casino will continue to invest in this area to ensure they are providing customers with the most up to date gaming offering in the city.
The state-of-the-art venue now boasts traditional oriental décor with stylish paintings, wallpaper and light fixtures installed throughout. The casino’s three Karaoke rooms have been upgraded and the colorful, Asian inspired wallpaper creates an inviting entertainment space for guests.
The popular Chinese restaurant has been renamed to Jin Mi and significant upgrades have been made to the restaurant and bar area. The new décor provides diners with a warm and inviting place to enjoy the venue’s authentic Chinese food menus, including the popular Claypot and Steamboat menus.
In addition, there have been general upgrades and improvements throughout the casino, including works completed on the toilets, external signage and lighting, and smoking area as well as a new City-Centre meeting room which can be used by local companies to hold their meetings or functions.
