In an exclusive interview with Yogonet, David Orrick, Director of Industry Relations at Merkur Gaming share details on the company's showcase at ICE 2020, which will take place across February 4-6 at ExCel London.
"The Avantgarde slant top and its successive models such as the Avantgarde Trio have been a standout product in the Merkur Gaming range for some years now. It has been and continues to be a huge success around the world and now, here at ICE, we very proudly present its latest evolution, the Avantgarde Max," Orrick said.
Available in two models, the Avantgarde Max and the Avantgarde Trio Max, these brand new cabinets feature two or three (depending on model) 31.5” full HD monitors, a new sound concept with its loudspeakers located at console height and thus enabling the player to become one with the game. Both models will only be made available in Merkur Gaming’s Black Series design. "We are certain that this product will be a huge success in a whole range of international markets," the executive said.
The company will also introduce its royal slant top cabinet, the Allegro Trio, an elegant, slim and shapely cabinet with dimensional superiority. Designed for gaming floors that have limited space, the Allegro Trio (that measures just 2064mm in height) has three brilliant 27” full HD displays that are just 9mm thick and which are virtually edgeless. With the Latest Gforce Ultra HD multigame technology platform and the stylish looks that will turn heads, the Allegro Trio presents slimline looks and powerful performance, all in one.
Orrick also revealed that two striking themes across Merkur's ICE booth will be a very strong focus on Jackpots. Starting with the Linked Progressive Jackpot Treasure Link, and its five-strong new game range that provides the path to the Maxi Stand-Alone Progressive and Mega Linked Progressive Jackpots. Merkur Gaming will also showcase the Rapid Thunder, a Five level static Non-Progressive Jackpot Feature combined with six unique base games. Add to that its new jackpot game range: Jewels of the Nile, Runnin’ Wild, Striking Fortunes and Big Deal Wheel.
The Director of Industry Relations also delved into the different discussions that are likely to drive the 2020 agenda: "There can be no doubt that major trade shows such as ICE will bring many, many, discussions on the future direction of the global gaming industry. Topics will range far and wide, but there is no doubt that two topics, sports betting legalization and the developing plans for Integrated Resorts in Japan, further developments across Asia and continued gaming expansion in Latin America will be of great interest. From a slot manufacturer’s perspective, the demand —from both operators and players— for ever greater levels of gaming entertainment will continue to grow, leading to many new innovations and game concepts as the industry’s designers work to satisfy that demand."
