"SAGSE Talks is the first and most important online networking event for Latin America, which has been created to inspire the entertainment, betting and online gaming sectors," Alan Burak commented.
The first session will be held tomorrow, April 21, at 3 p.m. (GMT-3), and will be focused on the analysis of the Argentine market and the opportunities that could arise from this global health crisis.
Confirmed speakers include: Sebastian Vivot (IT Manager, LOTBA, Buenos Aires City Lottery), Luis Ayestarán (President, Rio Negro Lottery de la Lotería de Rio Negro), Lucas Baffetti ( General Manager, San Luis lottery, Slots Group), Matías Vannelli (Communications and Marketing Manager, Casino Club), Karen Sierra-Hughes (Director, Latin American and Caribbean Government Relations and Business Development, U.S., GLI.), Gustavo Cisneros (Consulting Director, Pálpitos 24, Córdoba), and Evert Montero Cárdenas (President of the Colombian trade association FECOLJUEGOS). Also participating: Fernando Polti (Consultant, Global Wizards), Alan Burak (Vice President, Monografie) and Pablo Zuppi (Director, Yogonet), who will be moderating the whole session.
"Through this initiative and thanks to the technical support of Gaming Wizards and the cooperation of Yogonet in the development of the schedule, SAGSE has been able to gather top industry experts and thought leaders who will be sharing valuable insights and tools as well as discussing and analyzing the different opportunities coming head," Burak said. "Every Tuesday, SAGSE Talks will feature exclusive ‘glocal’ content for the betting and gambling industries, covering the sports betting, casino, poker, and virtual sports sectors, as well as topics relating to payment methods and digital marketing, among many more."
"Of course, our agenda couldn’t leave out COVID-19 and the impact the global pandemic has had on our industry, but we have decided to focus on the strategies that will help us in the recovery of our seriously affected sector. The growth in online gambling, the rise of new remote work tools, the different scenarios in each region and the approach land-based operators should take to adapt to this new reality are among the key topics that the regulators and executives from each country will be addressing, starting tomorrow with Argentina. Then, we will continue to cover the main markets in Latin America each week, added Pablo Zuppi, Director and Editor, Yogonet LatAm.
