Romanian operator Superbet has acquired a 60% of Lucky 7

Superbet, one of the largest gambling operators in Romania, took over 60% of the shares of Lucky 7, which operates on the online casino and slots market, founded in Malta by Olof Örn and Magnus Petersson.

Founded in 2008, Superbet currently has a network of about 1,200 agencies. Superbet Holding Romania operates as retail brands Superbet, GoBet and Magic Jackpot. Last spring, investment SuperBet Blackstone became a shareholder by buying a minority stake in exchange for 175 million euros.

In Romania, Superbet has over 3,500 employees and a turnover of 250 million euros last year. In 2017, it also entered the Polish market , today having offices in Austria, Croatia, Malta, Serbia, Great Britain. Blackstone is one of the largest investment funds in the world, with assets under management of $ 512 billion, recently entering Romania and the logistics market.
