Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia, developed by Cordish Gaming Group opened for business on Thursday, with table games, slot machines, a table poker room, and more.
"Our Team Members are ready to welcome the Philadelphia region to experience the world-class gaming and entertainment destination we have created, in a fun and safe manner," said Joe Billhimer, Executive Vice President, Cordish Gaming Group.
Located in South Philadelphia, the newly-opened 510,000-square-foot multi-level facility features more than 2,100 slot machines, 121 live-action table games, and a dedicated 29 table poker room, as well as FanDuel Sportsbook.

As for the hotel aspect, Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia features a 12-story, 208-room hotel, and a six-room, 15,000 square-foot Event Center, Patch reports.
Dining options are plentiful as well and include burger and taco spot from celebrity chef Guy Fieri. Restaurants include the Prime Rib, Luk Fu, Sports & Social Philly, Sang Kee Noodle Bar & Kitchen, and Termini Brothers Bakery, Guy's Burger Joint, Guy Fieri's Taco Joint, Morty's Deli, and Luckie's Liquor.
"Live! is the casino Philly has been waiting for and deserves, so we're making it a priority to expand our grand opening festivities to ensure everyone can go Live! safely," Billhimer added.
The facility developed a comprehensive 'Play It Safe' plan that focuses on mask usage, temperature checks, social distancing, and repeated cleaning of high-traffic areas, slot machines, and table game equipment.
