LatAm sports gambling and gaming operator Betcris has just updated its payment options for its users in Brazil, to include an alternative that will make deposits much easier.
The company has activated a new bank deposits solution for the Brazilian called Pix. It is a service provided by the Central Bank of Brazil that allows payments to be made 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in seconds, through mobile applications, online banking and ATMs. Betcris users can find Pix listed in the Online Cashier, under the “Bank Transfers” option.
There are some limits associated with Pix, as with virtually all payment options. The minimum amount per transaction is USD 3 and the maximum amount is USD 15,000. Additionally, the maximum amount per month is USD 50,000. Pix is designed to offer greater access to digital payments for Brazil’s residents, while providing a more secure payment option at the same time.
Pix isn’t just a better solution for users, as it typically has a lower acceptance cost for merchants, as well. This will allow Betcris to lower its expenses, which will give the operator more flexibility to enhance its options and solutions for its users. Pix is available across Brazil and can be utilized by anyone, making it an alternative that can easily be integrated into any payment solutions system.
According to the Central Bank of Brazil, Pix transactions are more reliable and secure. “Pix will promptly notify the end users (both payer and payee) of the transaction’s conclusion," it explains. "With the payment confirmation, the payer has certainty that the payment was received and funds are available for the beneficiary. It must be emphasized that the Pix alias is only used to facilitate initiating a Pix transaction and, therefore, to pay with Pix it is not necessary to register a Pix alias.”
