The Nevada Gaming Control Board granted the permission Monday effective immediately. Parent company Golden Entertainment vaccinated nearly 6,000 employees who work at the company’s casinos, with at least 80% of the staff at the Strat receiving at least one dose of the vaccine for COVID-19.
The Strat hotel and casino on the Las Vegas Strip will return to 100% capacity on its casino floor.
On Monday, the parent company Golden Entertainment announced that the hotel casino met all requirements set by the Nevada Gaming Control Board. The Strat is joining Las Vegas Strip properties Wynn, Encore, and the Cosmopolitan, which already have been operating at 100% capacity on gaming floors after gaining approval from the regulator last week.
