India: Delta Corp's Goa casinos to remain closed until at least June 7

The company´s casinos and its subsidiaries will remain closed due to the surge in Covid-19 cases. Towards the close of trade on Wednesday, Delta was trading up 3.52% from its previous closing on the Budapest Stock Exchange.

Delta Corp casinos and its subsidiaries in Goa will remain closed till June 7 due to the surge in Covid-19 cases, the government has extended the restrictions in the state.

Accordingly, the casinos operated by the company and its subsidiaries in Goa will remain closed during this period.

"We are unable to estimate the quantum of potential losses on account of this temporary closure and the pandemic at this time,” the company said in a filing on Tuesday.

Towards the close of trade on Wednesday, Delta was trading at Rs175.20 per piece up Rs5.95 or 3.52% from its previous closing of Rs169.25 per piece on the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE).
