Resorts World Las Vegas, the first ground-up resort development on the Las Vegas Strip in more than a decade, will present a new gaming experience with the most innovative technology in the industry when the resort opens June 24.
With 117,000 square feet of gaming space featuring over 1,400 slot machines, 117 table games, a dedicated poker room and 30 poker tables, plus high-limit areas and a sportsbook, the next-generation casino will redefine the traditional gaming experience by introducing "the most technologically advanced casino and gaming operations all within one integrated resort", according to the operator.
“Our vision at Resorts World Las Vegas has always been to provide first-of-its-kind experiences across every element of the resort, including gaming. Through our partnerships with best-in-class gaming technology partners, we will offer our guests a fully integrated experience, not just on the gaming floor, but across the entire resort,” said Rick Hutchins, Senior Vice President, Casino Operations at Resorts World Las Vegas.
Mobile Driven Technology
The Resorts World Mobile App, is developed by JOINGO, a Sightline Payments Solution. The app will allow guests to pay for any gaming, entertainment, or hotel offerings from the palm of their hand, and check their Genting Rewards account balances, receive offers and rewards and stay connected to the array of amenities available at the resort. Genting Rewards is Resorts World Las Vegas’s global loyalty program and is a free enrollment where members will earn points, recognitions and rewards for their spend across the resort.
Cashless Wagering
Resorts World Las Vegas will be the first Las Vegas casino where consumers can utilize a digital login and cashless wagering experience at both slots and table games. Managed through Konami Gaming’s SYNKROS®, the resort’s casino management system providing ultra-high reliability and industry-leading architecture, Resorts World Las Vegas has the ideal environment for integrations across best-of-kind solutions, ultimately giving the highest ease of use and endless functionality, while providing the opportunity to deliver a completely seamless cashless wagering experience via GamingPlay, the resort's digital gaming wallet, and card-less logins for Genting Rewards loyalty members.
The vision for GamingPlay is to provide seamless capabilities to load their wallet in two ways, by depositing cash at one of the NEO Kiosks provided by NRT Technology, a global leader in enterprise payment systems for casinos, or at the player services desk, or by enrolling in Sightline’s Play+. Play+ will allow guests to connect to external funding sources like a bank account, credit, debit or PayPal account, and load their GamingPlay wallet. This solution will offer guests the flexibility to transfer funds in and out of their GamingPlay wallet and linked Play + account and will provide the convenience of transactions without leaving their seat or standing in lines. Guests also have three different ways to input and present their loyalty card on the casino floor, including a physical loyalty card, digital loyalty card, or entering their phone number at any slot machine.
“Launching cashless gaming solutions at the first major Las Vegas casino opening in a decade presents a tremendous opportunity for Sightline to further the digital transformation of the consumer experience in gaming,” said Joe Pappano, CEO of Sightline Payments.
“When Resorts World Las Vegas and Konami Gaming first launched an official partnership at the start of 2020, we set out to reinvent the hospitality experience in Las Vegas by bringing seamless interaction, leading-edge convenience, personalized engagement, and catered service to every guest touchpoint,” said Tom Jingoli, executive vice president & chief operating officer at Konami Gaming, Inc.
“Our vision of connecting the guest experience couldn’t be more fitting for this partnership between Resorts World Las Vegas and NRT,” Said Michael Dominelli, President of NRT. “Enabling both a physical and digital solution set of financial services, marketing and loyalty, rewards, enrolment, electronic markers and intelligent table games platform."
Seamless Integrations
When the next-generation casino opens next week, guests will be able to test their luck at a variety of table games including blackjack, craps, roulette, and more. Resorts World Las Vegas partnered with Genesis Gaming, the only comprehensive solutions provider in the table games industry, to provide the digital table games experience with RFID bet tracking, Perfect Pay at baccarat tables, and Ticket-in-Ticket out (TITO) at the tables.
Resorts World Las Vegas will be the first casino resort to introduce “Smart Table,” which will use RFID embedded chips for every dollar denomination to provide 100% accuracy of guests’ gaming activity. This innovative and ground-breaking solution ensures guests receive the most accurate recognition through the resort’s loyalty program.
TITO at the table will allow guests to conveniently move from slots to tables or vice versa by simply using the cash-out vouchers. This capability will eliminate the need to find a ticket redemption center to exchange the voucher for cash and then go to the table to buy in. The resort will also introduce Perfect Pay at baccarat tables which, in addition to player tracking, provides technology that will allow guests to place additional wagers, such as insurance and Lucky 6 side bets.
“We are delighted to provide Resorts World Las Vegas with our industry leading Bravo Pit® table game management system. The system features PJM3.0™RFID and vouchering technology, as well as the ability to accept cashless payments at table games,” comments Genesis Gaming Solutions Inc. President, Randy Knust.
The expansive casino floor will also feature a poker room that will offer an elevated and technologically advanced gaming experience for individual and tournament play. Resorts World Las Vegas guests will also be able to experience the thrill of sports-wagering in a unique environment with live entertainment and delicious pub fare at Dawg House Saloon & Sportsbook. IGT PlaySports technology will power Resorts World Las Vegas’s retail sportsbook and its state-wide mobile betting app.
“IGT will help the Resorts World Las Vegas team maximize the full potential of their PlaySports-powered retail and mobile sportsbooks, engage sports fans, and capture growth opportunities within one of the of the highest-volume sports betting markets in the U.S.,” said Enrico Drago, IGT PlayDigital Senior Vice President.
