Genius Sports is activating in-stadia sports betting partnerships with Philadelphia Eagles, the company announced on Tuesday. Through the deal, the data, technology and commercial supplier for the sports and betting industries will deliver real-time betting odds to drive fan engagement in Lincoln Financial Field’s sports betting lounges.

The NFL’s exclusive distributor of real-time and official play-by-play statistics will provide branded screens within sports betting lounges in the stadium with “new levels of insight” to Eagles fans, through real-time betting odds, league-wide scores, and individual player statistics.

“Tapping into and utilizing Genius Sports’ cutting-edge technology at Lincoln Financial Field will contribute to the world-class experience that we always seek to provide our fans on game day,” said Catherine Carlson, Senior Vice President, Revenue and Strategy, Philadelphia Eagles.

Carlson believes the Genius Sports partnership will create a more enhanced game experience for fans by leveraging its data platform and innovation. As part of the deal, Eagles fans will also be provided with “unique betting offers” from the team’s sportsbook partners via QR codes displayed on screens before and during games.

“Providing new and innovative platforms for teams to engage with legalized sports betting is a fundamental part of our NFL partnership,” said Josh Linforth, MD - Media & Engagement at Genius Sports.“We’re very proud to be working with the Philadelphia Eagles.”

According to Genius Sports, the partnership will boost Philadelphia Eagles’ sports betting partnerships. The team currently has three deals with operators DraftKings, FoxBet and Unibet, all set to have a prominent presence at the stadium through sports lounges.

Unlike other states, Pennsylvania’s professional sports teams can’t have on-property sportsbooks. The state’s law allows for retail and statewide digital betting, but sports betting platforms must be tied to an existing casino property.

“Why don’t we go exclusive? Well, we’re very thoughtful in maintaining a meaningful share of voice, and how we execute that is by providing very different opportunities and very different platforms for each partner,” said Carlson in late February this year.

Other pro sports teams in Pennsylvania have also signed partnerships with sports betting operators, such NBA Philadelphia 76ers with BetMGM, Caesars and DraftKings, NHL Philadelphia Flyers with BetRivers, and NFL Pittsburgh Steelers with BetMGM.
