The property will close on November 1 to begin an expansion process to expand the gaming floor, and other spaces in the tavern. The renovation process is expected to be finished by the end of the year, when it plans to reopen.

Station Casinos announced Monday the temporary closure of one of its Wildfire Gaming locations due to renovations.

Wildfire Lake Mead, a tavern in Lake Mead Parkway east of Boulder Highway operated by Station Casinos, will close on Monday November 1 to begin expansion and property renovations, which are projected to be finalized before the end of the year.

Once the process is complete, Wildfire Lake Mead will have over 200 new slot, poker and keno gaming machines, electronic table games such as blackjack and craps, a new Station Sportsbook and amenities like check cashing and payment processing.

According to Station, the Wild Grill restaurant will also undergo a makeover process and is expected to reopen in February.

Wildfire's other Henderson locations on Sunset Road and Boulder Highway will remain open during the Lake Mead location's temporary closure.
