Inspired Entertainment announced on Wednesday it has enhanced its partnership with Loto-Québec. The Canadian government corporation will now become the first customer to launch Inspired’s iLottery games.
Loto-Québec, a long-time customer of Inspired, currently offers many of the provider’s interactive casino titles on its website, lotoquebec.com. Thanks to the new addition, it will be able to include Inspired’s digital lottery games both on its site and the Loto-Québec app, which allows players in the province to play online with the winnings directly deposited into an account.
Inspired is expected to launch its first new iLottery games, Scarab Treasures and Fruit Drop Scatterdrops, in 2022. These are “the first of many” digital lottery titles to go live with the Canadian operator.
"We see our entry into the iLottery market, with Loto-Québec as our first customer, as an important strategic step for our company, which we are very excited about," said Brooks Pierce, President and Chief Operating Officer at Inspired.

The COO further remarked that Inspired's management team counts with extensive experience in the global lottery market, which is estimated to be over $300 billion. The company sees this as “a significant potential growth opportunity”, poised to see higher adoption by lotteries worldwide.
"Inspired's online casino content has proven popular with our customers and we are glad to be their first customer in the iLottery market," said Anne-Marie Voyer, Director of Lottery Products & Development at Loto-Québec. "We are looking forward to collaborating with Inspired to feature some of our successful retail brands in their digital lottery games.
The international gaming provider, which operates in approximately 35 jurisdictions worldwide, has expanded its content portfolio in the last few weeks. This includes the launch of the Halloween-themed slot game Reel Spooky King Megaways, and the new gem-themed slot game Twistar.
In August, the company posted a strong Q2 report, with revenue climbing 166% to $41.5 million, amid retail reopenings and interactive growth. The interactive business achieved a 69% year-over-year increase in revenue, driven by new customers and territories, and the launch of new content.
"Between the strong retail gaming recovery outlook, robust iGaming trends, refinancing and the overall improvement in our cost structure coming out of COVID-19, we believe we are in a better position than ever to deliver on our strategic plan and maximize shareholder value,” said the company in a statement after the report.
