Video bingo and slots company Zitro participated in the latest edition of Kyiv’s Gaming Industry Exhibition, in Ukraine, in collaboration with its distributor B4G. At its booth, the supplier presented the progressive multigames Link Me and 88 Link Wild Duels, featured on the latest generation of the ONE cabinet line: Fusion ONE and Allure ONE.
Both Link Me and 88 Link have been translated into Ukrainian, and include 243 ways and the popular Bonus Link feature. “Zitro’s successful duo are a guarantee of profitability for operators and fun for their players,” describes the company.
“During these days in Kyiv, we have been presenting our products to operators in the country,” said Nadège Teyssedre, regional director for EMEA. “The acceptance from our customers has been very positive.”
The 2021 edition of the exhibition was held November 24-26 at the International Exhibition Center, in Kyiv. The expo was visited by about 1879 people and featured 52 exhibitors from 14 different countries.
Guests were asked to either present a vaccination certificate or take a free rapid test at the venue. Sections covered at the exhibition included gaming, attractions, entertainment, vending and terminals, computer entertainment, and services.
Teyssedre further said that Zitro has shown once again its commitment to the gaming industry “by supporting and investing in new emerging markets” such as the Ukraine one, which he said the company has high expectations for.
“Since the opening of the Ukrainian market, at Zitro we have made our excellent products available to the country’s operators and committed ourselves to be a guarantee of profitability for them, as well as a guarantee of fun for their players," Zitro CEO Sebastian Salat had said in a statement prior to the event.
The company had also participated in a previous edition of the event, held in June this year, where it presented its Link King and 88 Link progressive multigames. That month, the business also announced it closed agreements for the supply of the first Link King banks and 88 Link banks, to be operating in Ukrainian casinos.
Founded in 2007, and starting with video bingo, Zitro has expanded to a global presence and expanded its product portfolio since then. In 2016, it presented its first video slot games under the brand BRYKE and its individual Bingo Hall system BET, and announced a commitment to focus on the online market, while also remaining competitive in other verticals.
The Kyiv Gaming Industry exhibition was first launched in 1994, under the name “Entertainment Industry”, a moniker it eventually changed. The trade expo has accompanied policy changes in the country regarding the industry: while in 2009 the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) banned gambling in Ukraine, in 2020 a new law was adopted, allowing for legal gaming once again.
"Ukraine was a very interesting market in the past, but it suffered from the lack of a solid legal framework that guaranteed operators the security of their investment," Salat described the market in June. "This time the Ukrainian Government has promoted a law that does provide that legal certainty."
