After five months since its opening in Resorts World Las Vegas, Restaurant Marigold announced Wednesday it has ceased operations. It was confirmed by Resorts World spokeswoman Dana Rutkin that the restaurant closed its doors on December 2 as reported by Review Journal.

Resorts World will announce in the coming weeks a new restaurant, which will open in Spring.

It is unclear why Marigold closed soon after its debut, with Resorts World having opened on June 24.

The restaurant billed itself as “a new American concept” with burgers and lobsters as the main menu features. Billy Richardson also owns other restaurants such as Holsteins Shakes and Buns, located at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas; Haute Doggery and Flour & Barley, both at the Linq Promenade; and Elephant Bar Restaurant in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
