Global sports betting, gaming and interactive entertainment group, Entain, announced Tuesday it has made its debut in Management Today’s ranking of “Britain’s Most Admired Companies”, as the runner up for 2021.
Entain, whose global brands include Ladbrokes, Eurobet, bwin and BetMGM in the U.S., was commended for its effort to tackle problem gambling, alongside wider Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues. The group has also been credited for its earnings growth, joint venture with BetMGM in the U.S., and its investment in esports, gaming and technology.

In an official press release, Rob Wood, CFO and Deputy CEO of Entain, spoke about this recognition and said it “is a true testament to the entire team at Entain. We’ve been through a remarkable period of transformation since 2020 - we have made our mark as a global brand and experienced huge growth, all whilst putting sustainability and ESG at the heart of everything we do”.

Management Today’s “Britain’s Most Admired Companies” is a peer-review study, carried out by reputation specialist Echo Research and involving interviews with 329 board representatives, analysts and city commentators. Some of Britain's largest companies, across 27 sectors, were among those asked to evaluate their peers, rated according to 13 different criteria.
