Sportsbook supplier BtoBet has been awarded the coveted ISO 27001 certification, the company announced on Tuesday. The business describes it as a “milestone” and a testament to its commitment towards information security.
The ISO 27001 certificate sets out the best practices for an Information Security Management System (ISMS) by adopting a risk-based approach to Information Security. The certification of BtoBet’s ISMS gives a “solid foundation” to clients looking for a robust and agile security framework to protect their clients’ and players’ data, the Aspire Global subsidiary explains.
The ISO 27001 is “one of the few standards” which uses a top-down, risk-based approach to assessment and identifies the exact requirements and specifications for the most comprehensive Information Security Management System, according to a press release.

“Receiving the ISO 27001 certification is a milestone for BtoBet and is a testament to our commitment towards information security,” Dima Reiderman, BtoBet’s Chief Operating Officer said. “Not only will it allow us to strengthen the relationship we have with our existing partners but will furthermore enforce BtoBet as a trusted partner for all operators keen on partnering with us and using our cutting-edge proprietary sportsbook technology.”
According to Reiderman, the ISO 27001 certification is also set to “open up opportunities” in new regions the sportsbook is targeting. BtoBet currently has a presence in a number of global markets, including jurisdictions in Europe, Latam and Africa.
The company offers a standalone platform and services for both the iGaming and sports betting industries, and allows licensees the opportunity to personalize their offers for both online mobile and retail.
Last week, BtoBet announced it has been granted a certification by the Dutch gaming authority, the Kansspelautoriteit (KSA), thus allowing the company to provide its sportsbook platform to the Netherlands iGaming market.
BtoBet's Neuron 3 sportsbook platform is now fully compliant with Dutch regulations and ready-to-market, allowing local operator partners to provide a tailored betting experience to their players through its technology, the company said.
“This certification, pending our entry in the Dutch market, will help to accelerate our foothold in the mature European market, as we continue to sustain our growth trajectory with a global market expansion strategy,” Dima Reiderman explained. “Setting the basis for BtoBet’s entry to yet another regulated market highlights our commitment to strengthen our position as one of the leading sportsbook suppliers to the global industry.”
