Jackpocket has partnered with WynnBET to deliver exclusive offers to New York State players, both parties announced on Sunday, ahead of Super Bowl LVI. The partnership between Wynn Resorts' sports betting and casino brand and the third-party lottery app is set to bring “big rewards for NY lottery lovers and sports fans,” according to a press release.
The partnership kicked off with a joint “Big Game Big Deal” promotion, launched in the Jackpocket app ahead of the NFL season’s final game. Players in the Empire State signing up as new WynnBET customers through the Jackpocket app receive $200 in free bets on WynnBET after placing their first $10 bet with odds -120 or greater.
As part of the promotion, customers will also get back their initial $10 deposit to WynnBET in the form of lottery credits to play on the Jackpocket app. Jackpocket describes its product as “the leading third-party app in the US” to provide a secure way to order official state lottery tickets.
"As Jackpocket expands into new gaming verticals and partnerships, we're excited to provide special offers, exciting sweepstakes, and new chances to win back to our players," said Jackpocket CEO Peter Sullivan on Sunday. "Teaming up with WynnBET ahead of the biggest night in football is a great opportunity to bring increased awareness to their online sportsbook and deliver more value to Jackpocket app users."
According to a 2021 Jackpocket user survey, over 13% of players had engaged in sports betting in the last 6 months, which makes it a desirable market for the app. Jackpocket, which launched in New York in January 2020, is WynnBET’s first third-party lottery app partner.
Jackpocket is currently available in 10 states in the US and provides “an easy, secure way” to order official state lottery tickets for Powerball, Mega Millions, Win 4, among others. To date, the company claims lottery players have won over $100 million in prizes by using the app.
WynnBET, the online casino and sports betting product of Wynn Resorts' Wynn Interactive subsidiary, launched in New York earlier this month, on February 4, becoming the seventh sportsbook to go live with mobile sports gaming in the Empire State.
“New York is a monumental step in the growth of our company,” Wynn Interactive President Ian Williams said of the launch at the time, described as “a huge day” for WynnBET, which is now live in nine US states. A promotional video featuring former wide receiver and three-time Super Bowl winner Julian Edelman was launched along the news to promote the product.
“New Yorkers represent a significant portion of the Wynn Las Vegas and Encore Boston Harbor databases, and we look forward to giving those customers more ways to earn and use Wynn Rewards,” Wynn Interactive CEO Craig Billings had said last year. “We also look forward to meeting and engaging with new customers in the state via WynnBET.”
