Inspired Entertainment announced Thursday the arrival of Multi-Stream Matchday, the new V-Play Soccer game for online and retail players in Italy. Inspired's long-term partner, Sisal, is set to be the first Italian customer to launch this new Virtual Sports game to its online player base.
The new product offers customers the chance to engage with eight simultaneous soccer games and choose which of the eight streams to watch at any point. As a variant of the Matchday Ultra product, players get to wager across up to eight matches and create accumulator/parlay bets that deliver higher prizes.
In addition, with Multi-Stream Matchday, players get to see highlights of every single match on dedicated channels instead of the picture-in-picture or single-game display available to this point.
In December, Flutter Entertainment announced the acquisition of Sisal from CVC Capital Partners Fund VI, for a consideration of approximately $2.1 billion (€1.913B/£1.62B). The transaction is likely to be completed during Q2, 2022.
Steve Rogers, CCO of Virtual Sports, spoke about this new release and said: “Sisal has been Inspired’s partner since the Italian market opened in 2014 and we have worked together to bring a number of exciting new concepts to the Italian market. Multi-Stream Matchday joins V-Play Soccer, V-Play Penalties and our new Women’s Soccer products to provide a full suite of Soccer products. The enthusiasm which has been shown towards our latest game, Multi-Stream Matchday, is further confirmation of the popularity of our Virtual Soccer product set, and we are excited to see these games attract new players and grow in popularity across multiple jurisdictions.”
Multi-Stream Matchday is hosted and delivered from Inspired’s cloud platform which is a flexible and cost-effective way of streaming content to online and mobile players.
