EGT debuts Bell Link Jackpot line at Merit Lefkosa Casino in Northern Cyprus

Euro Games Technology’s new line of EGT - Jackpot Bell Link has premiered to great success at Merit casino in Northern Cyprus following a recent arrival, the company announced. With this being the first-ever installation of the jackpot, EGT describes players in the market as keen on trying it out.

The first 12 General series 27-27 Upright cabinets with Bell Link have been stationed in Merit Lefkosa Casino, in the capital Nicosia. “The Jackpot has since been a prime choice for players with its four-level with two fixed Minor & Mini levels and a progressive Grand & Major level, all triggered by different colored bells,” the company describes.

Among the highlight features of the jackpot system is the Bell Link bonus game and Reel Boost, which enhances the gaming experience of players and grants many extra rewards, EGT explains. All in all, the company describes the initial rollout as a success.

“The results and the feedback are very positive. So much so that our partner Merit has already placed another order for Bell Link Jackpot for the rest of their casinos in Northern Cyprus,” said Biserka Draganova, Sales Manager – The Balkans and Egypt. “This deal further establishes EGT as the leader of the market as we have a 43% market share in Cyprus, with 908 machines being installed in Merit group alone.”

Merit is the largest casino chain in Northern Cyprus, and currently operates six facilities on the island: Merit Royal Casino, Merit Crystal Cove Casino, Merit Park Casino, Merit Cyprus Gardens Casino, Merit Lefkosa Casino and Liman Casino by Merit. 

In their six casinos in Northern Cyprus, the chain has over 2500 slot machines, of which 908 are from EGT, the company says. The chain operates with the same-brand casinos in Bulgaria, Montenegro and Croatia.

“We have had a very good working relationship with Merit for many years now both in Northern Cyprus and in other markets where they operate,” added Draganova. “We value this relationship and we see it evolving through the years. Very soon we hope to announce a new deal with Merit for Northern Cyprus – the first-ever installation on the island of EGT’s 8-seater roulette.”
