Swedish gambling operator Kindred announced Wednesday it has once again signed up as co-creating partner to Women in Tech Sweden and will take part in the conference on May 13. This will be Kindred's sixth consecutive participation in the conference. Following last year's virtual event, 2,500 attendees will gather at Waterfront in Stockholm to network in person and share experiences.
Women in Tech Sweden is the largest tech conference for women in the technology industry in the Nordics, and calls for constant development withi tech companies, as well as for individuals. This year's theme is "Level Up".
Kindred will also arrange a meet-up at their Stockholm office at Urban Escape on 18 May, which will be open for all attendees at the conference, where Kindred employees will share their expertise and knowledge.
Anna Jein, Sustainability Manager at Kindred Group, stated in an official release: “Women in Tech this year wants to inspire and enlighten women who are already in the tech industry to stay within the field by providing a network. This is truly important and we would like to contribute to that".
“Being part of Women in Tech is very fulfilling and our employees of all genders are very eager to take part on the day. Diversity and gender equality is a strategic ambition and fundamental to securing talent for our future success - it differentiates the top performers from the rest, regardless of what industry you are in. This year’s theme ‘Level Up’ is about constant development, broadening your horizons and driving change. It’s something that we at Kindred can certainly relate to and try to incorporate into our culture and values. We look forward to taking part in raising the awareness on this topic across the gambling industry and beyond".
