Payments platform Paysafe has expanded its existing partnership with Pennsylvania-based gaming company betPARX, the parties announced last week. betPARX, owned by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, will now also see payments provided by Paysafe for its mobile apps in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The new deal builds upon existing payments support provided by Paysafe for the Play Gun Lake brand in Michigan, powered by betPARX. The gaming company’s Pennsylvania and New Jersey apps will now plug into Paysafe for multiple traditional and alternative payment methods.

We’re delighted to extend our partnership with betPARX into two major states in the U.S. iGaming space – New Jersey, the cornerstone of the whole market since 2013, and Pennsylvania,” said Zak Cutler, CEO of North America iGaming at Paysafe. “We look forward to facilitating payments for betPARX and its players in both states to strengthen the two brands’ customer conversions and retention.”

Through Paysafe’s integration with betPARX technology partner Playtech’s iGaming PAM Information Management Solution (IMS) platform, users in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey can make streamlined deposits to fund their betPARX accounts with their credit or debit card. All transactions will be processed seamlessly through Paysafe’s payment gateway.

Additionally, betPARX users can also fund their wagers using Paysafe’s alternative payment solutions. These include the Skrill USA digital wallet, which was upgraded in Q4 with new functionality for instant funding of deposits, plus Paysafe’s Paysafecash and Paysafecard eCash solutions, the company explains.

But Paysafe will also enable betPARX users to cash-out winnings: payouts can be transferred directly into players’ Skrill USA accounts, with funds accessible in real-time or through their bank accounts, according to a press release.

“We are proud to extend betPARX’s partnership with an industry-leading payment technology provider,” commented Matthew Cullen, Senior Vice President of Interactive at betPARX. “We constantly look for features that will round-out our service to users and make betPARX the simplest and fastest app, and Paysafe delivers easy and user-friendly deposit and cash-out options.”

Parx Casino (Pennsylvania) parent company Greenwood first announced the launch of the betPARX app in its home state and New Jersey last month. The product combines mobile casino and sports betting experiences. Additionally, the business has also obtained market access in Ohio, ahead of a sports betting launch expected later this year.

The Playtech-powered app offers “a simple, quick and easy platform to wager on all sports as well as play mobile-centric casino games in both states,” the company described. The betPARX app features a wide array of exclusive and progressive slot games such as “Divine Fortune” and “Cleopatra”, and table games including Blackjack, Roulette and live dealer games.

It also offers over 50 Playtech titles, including five games from Playtech’s “Mega Fire Blaze”, a series of games developed by Playtech’s Rarestone Studio. The app also offers numerous third-party games, including IGT; Konami and AGS among others.
