Recently reopened Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas is bringing AGS’ Bonus Spin Xtreme to nearly 40 table games on the venue’s casino floor, the gaming machines manufacturer and operator announced on Tuesday. It marks the largest BSX installation to date.
BSX is a proprietary technology that can link all table games within a casino, even if those games have disparate math models, explains AGS. The feature aims to provide faster incrementing and larger progressive jackpots, rising to the challenge of offering a single jackpot on community-style table games.
The technology is now available on 39 total table games at the Palms resort, including 24 blackjack tables, 12 baccarat tables, and 3 roulette tables. High-limit blackjack and baccarat tables are included in the numbers above, giving high rollers a chance at a BSX-connected jackpot as well.

"This cutting-edge install is a major success for AGS. Our deal with the Palms marks our largest Bonus Spin Xtreme installation to date,” commented Ronald LaDuca, AGS’ Vice President of sales for Table Products. “We're proud to work with the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians to bring BSX to new players at the Palms Las Vegas.”
The new deal builds on a previous installation of 12 roulette tables at the Band’s Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel, California. The tribe recently made history by becoming the first Native American tribe to 100% own a casino in Vegas through its acquisition of Palms, which reopened on April 27 after more than two years in the dark.
"By linking nearly 40 tables on Palms' floor to a fast-growing single jackpot pool, Bonus Spin Xtreme elevates the player experience by creating more ways to win and have fun at the table," commented Paul Garcia, Director of Tables Games at the Palms Las Vegas.
The new installation follows San Manuel's announcement of a refreshed casino floor. In addition to new machines, the tribe will debut a new slot and table layout - “pods” of slots that allow guests to chat while playing alongside friends as opposed to rows of machines.
Last month, AGS participated in IGA's Indian Gaming Trade Show & Convention, which ran between April 19 and 22. The company unveiled a new multi-denomination gameplay feature for its high-performing Rakin' Bacon Deluxe slot theme on the Orion Curve Premium cabinet. It also showcased its award-winning Bonus Spin Xtreme table game progressive side bet.
The new player-selectable multi-denomination feature to the Rakin' Bacon Deluxe slot theme comes as the game celebrates its one-year launch anniversary. Additionally, the company showed the Bonus Spin Xtreme library is growing; and games like roulette and baccarat were available at the AGS booth for attendants to try out this innovative progressive feature firsthand.
