Content provider to the iGaming industry Pragmatic Play has launched a new Ancient Egypt-inspired, cat-themed video slot called Cleocatra. The 5x4, 40 payline slot combines two themes that according to the company are fan favorites: cats and Egyptian culture.

The cats run the temple, while a paw-imprinted pyramid acts as a wild. During both base play and the bonus, the wild has a random multiplier of 2x or 3x attached to it. These can accumulate if part of the same winning combination for even larger rewards.

If a full stack of any matching cat lands on reel one, a respin occurs. The stack and wilds remain on screen and all other positions respin until at least one winning combination with the stacked icons is formed. A golden paw represents the scatter symbol, which is also paying in base play. Three or more of these will trigger the Free Spins feature, awarding at least eight spins.

During the bonus, all wilds will remain sticky for the duration, for potentially huge wins, with a max payout of 5,000x – with the bonus buy feature being available in certain jurisdictions.

Yossi Barzely, Chief Business Development Officer at Pragmatic Play, said: "Cleocatra combines the hugely popular Egyptian slot environment with some endearing cats, as players look to generate plenty of wilds in this action-packed slot. With a respins feature and a max win potential of 5,000x their stake, players will have the chance to enjoy another thrilling visit to the sands of Egypt."

Cleocatra becomes the latest Egyptian-themed title in Pragmatic Play's portfolio, joining Eye of Cleopatra and Might of Ra.
