Caesars Atlantic City announced Tuesday further renovations to its casino floor, lobby, valet area and outdoor pool, set to take place this year as part of a $200 million makeover. The work is part of a $400 million investment parent company Caesars Entertainment is making in its three New Jersey properties, which also include Harrah’s and Tropicana.
In an official press release, John Koster, regional president for the company’s Eastern Division, said: “This major investment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to elevating guests’ experiences at our resorts as well as advancing the Atlantic City tourism economy."

The Boardwalk casino will get a new lobby and valet area, with renderings now available. It will also renovate its outdoor pool on the rooftop of Qua Baths & Spa, including cabanas, as well as a bar "serving one of the best pool views in the city, overlooking the beach and boardwalk."
“For 43 years, Caesars Atlantic City has been an iconic destination on the Atlantic City Boardwalk and critical to the market’s success over the years,” said Joe Lodise, Senior VP and General Manager for Caesars Atlantic City. “The resort transformation at Caesars Atlantic City will further the property’s evolution as one of the country’s leading travel destinations here on the East Coast.”

The Atlantic City properties renovation plans were first announced in 2021, and also include remodeled room towers, updated interior design elements, and new dining concepts, projected to be completed in three years.
Caesars Atlantic City has recently completed renovations to 750 hotel rooms and suites featuring a Roman theme and elements of the Atlantic City beachfront. The venue also plans new hospitality projects including Nobu Atlantic City, a restaurant and a hotel within Caesars. Additionally, the property is set to open Gordon Ramsay Hell’s Kitchen, described as "the first restaurant of its kind on the East Coast."
"Game-changing enhancements will transform the Caesars Atlantic City valet and hotel lobby invoking an elegant and welcoming sense of arrival for guests," the company further detailed. "The redesigned first-floor lobby will also feature an all-new Starbucks offering mobile ordering, a welcome addition to the property."

Back when the project was announced, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy spoke about the renovations to the three Atlantic City properties and labeled them as part of an effort from his administration and the company to re-establish Atlantic City "as a premier tourist destination in New Jersey".
"This $400 million investment in the city supports our focus on growing the economy, continuing to support Atlantic City, and creating jobs in our state, and I applaud Caesars Entertainment for leading the recovery effort," the Governor said at the time.
This is not the only expansion that the company has invested in this year. Back in May, the Indianapolis Motor Speedway opened its first betting lounge in tandem with Caesars Entertainment, debuting at the racetrack for the GMR Grand Prix. Caesars also became IMS’ official sports betting partner for the remainder of the 2022 calendar.
Earlier last month, the company also confirmed its involvement in the rebranding of Emagine Entertainment’s Emagine Sports Lounge at Michigan’s Emagine Royal Oak movie theater, with a new name announced: Caesars Sportsbook Lounge Powered by Emagine. This follows a deal the two brands entered with the purpose of combining fan engagement opportunities at the Emagine and create a base for Caesars’ sportsbook to host events and offer promotions to movies and sports fans.
