Online gaming brand PlayStar announced Wednesday it has reached a new agreement with IGT PlayDigital, IGT's business focused on digital and betting content and solutions. Together, they will host the latter's full suite of casino titles ahead of their launch in the U.S.
"Setting out with a mission to provide an online gaming experience like no other, PlayStar will differentiate itself from the competition by offering a more engaging user experience that’s underpinned by greater player personalisation and engagement features supported by exemplary customer service", the company stated. The online casino brand has now revealed that these key pillars of service will be further supplemented by the presence of IGT PlayCasino games on its network.
The new partnership agreement will now see IGT slots such as "Cleopatra Gold", "Pixies of the Forest" and "Fortune Coin" feature at PlayStar Casino, along with new releases including omnichannel games "Stinkin’ Rich" and "Lion Dance".
Additionally, players at PlayStar will also be able to experience a diverse range of table games and video poker titles from IGT PlayCasino, providing alternative gaming options for those looking to get away from conventional reel play.
Adam Noble, Co-Founder and Chief Business Development Officer at PlayStar, spoke in an official press release and said: “With the U.S. currently being the fastest-growing iGaming region in the world, it’s absolutely crucial that PlayStar hits the ground running by offering players the very best selection of games in the market. By partnering with a brand of the stature of IGT PlayDigital, we believe we’re now in a position to achieve this goal by providing an exciting collection of titles that will be further enhanced by PlayStar’s ongoing commitment to personalisation, engagement and customer service.”
Gil Rotem, President of iGaming at IGT, added: “IGT looks forward to joining forces with PlayStar Casino ahead of its upcoming U.S. launch in New Jersey. The team behind PlayStar has a proven track record in building successful businesses and it is a great opportunity for us to be there with them from day one. By adding top-performing IGT PlayCasino games to its roster, PlayStar will be able to offer customers nearly 500 engaging titles covering a wide range of product verticals, helping to provide a first-class gaming experience as it looks to make a major impact in the American iGaming market.”
In September last year, international hosting supplier Internet Vikings announced a long-term partnership with PlayStar Casino in the United States. The company will provide its iGaming hosting services to support the Swedish online casino operator’s advances into the U.S. market, specifically in New Jersey, where PlayStar is expected to start its operations later this year.
To boost this entry, PlayStar added an industry veteran to its senior management team with the appointment of Dan Alexander as Chief Operating Officer in June last year. With a decade of industry experience, he had spent the previous three years at bet365 as Head of Casino.
