Gaming entertainment solutions developer Aruze Gaming America announced Tuesday that its Go Go Claw game has won the Product Innovation of the Year at the 2022 Global Gaming Awards in Las Vegas. The Global Gaming Awards Las Vegas program is held in conjunction with the Global Gaming Expo (G2E) and honors the gaming industry's outstanding performers from the previous 12 months.
Rob Ziems, president of Aruze, said: "We are thrilled with this win for Product Innovation of the Year, in recognition of the way Aruze is re-imagining casino gameplay. Innovation is at the forefront of everything we do, it is our top goal, so winning in this category is special for our entire team, and we recognize the role that team has played in this win."
Go Go Claw, part of Aruze Gaming’s Activ-Play game line, is "a hit" among players and properties alike, the company said in a press release. The newly launched game expects placements in over 100 different casinos by year's end.
"This innovative game reimagines the player’s casino experience. In this unexpected blend of arcade and casino-style play, a physical claw is used to attempt to place one of the prize balls in the collection bin, where a value-varied prize is unveiled. This lively and innovative take on a traditional slot machine captures the attention of all who encounter it. Go Go Claw has two theme variations: Go Go Claw - Gold Bars and Go Go Claw - Cash Grab," the company described the product.
The Global Gaming Awards are powered by the B2B-gaming publications Gambling Insider and Gaming America and are independently adjudicated by KPMG. The Product Innovation of the Year Award recognizes the most innovative product from both the online and the land-based verticals.
It is worth highlighting that the company is currently exhibiting at the G2E Las Vegas expo, where it has its lineup of Activ-Play games and cabinets on display at booth #2659.
