Numerous representatives of various interest groups and service providers such as the Malta Gaming Authority, Finductive and the iGaming Academy attended the opening ceremony, together with Merkur eSolutions employees and Gauselmann Group executives.

The new office is around 650 square meters in size and features the latest health and safety standards, the company noted. In addition to Merkur eSolutions Malta, other subsidiaries and associated companies of the Gauselmann Group “will also find their home" in the Plaza Business Center.

Employees of bede Gaming Malta, Solis Ortus Service, Cashpoint Solutions Malta, Edict Malta, BLC Systems and Solar Operations are all united in the new offices in Sliema, under the umbrella of Merkur eSolutions.

Thomas Bone, CEO Merkur Online Divisions (B2B) seized the opportunity to give a speech to those present, explaining the direction of the Gauselmann Group and the company’s vision with regard to the online B2B market.

“Integrated offers are the future. With Merkur eSolutions, we have created the bridge between the stationary and online gaming worlds, thus setting up a first-class omni-channel offering,” Bone stated.

According to the CEO, the Malta office creates “the perfect framework to successfully expand this strategy further.” He also acknowledged the role of Jeremy Camilleri, Managing Director of Merkur eSolutions Malta, in planning the office complex and opening the new workplace.

Merkur spoke this week about its participation at the latest G2E, and considered the event "the show's best edition to date" after years of restriction due to the COVID pandemic. The company's booth in Las Vegas showcased a variety of products and solutions, highlighting an expanded range of Linked Progressive Jackpots.

The return of G2E to its accustomed form was “a huge attraction' for many visitors from across the Latin American region. With an executive team from Merkur’s subsidiary companies in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico and Peru on hand, the company was able to address the needs of these markets.

“Those national teams, and the whole Merkur team, were kept totally busy from the show’s opening right through the three days until its close, in welcoming guests and dealing with inquiries,” the company described.
