The Argentine State Lottery Association (ALEA), together with the SAGSE expo, announced this week the official agenda of the three-day meeting that will take place in the province of Mendoza on November 8-10, within the framework of ALEA's extraordinary assembly.
With the focus on high-level training for executives and regulators attending, the meeting will bring together authorities, officials of regulatory agencies, representatives of companies, and entities of the sector who will share networking and relaxation spaces, with the unmistakable mountain range landscape as a backdrop.
According to what has been announced, the upcoming event is expected to be "the most important event of regulators of the year, in which 24 national jurisdictions will meet in a context focused on the booming online gaming and sports betting market Argentina offers today". It is worth mentioning that two important jurisdictions in the country, Mendoza and Córdoba, are currently moving towards the formalization of this betting vertical, which adds attractiveness to an event such as ALEA SAGSE 2022.

According to those responsible for the meeting, each day will have differential nuances, since accredited visitors will be able to enter the so-called ALEA-SAGSE Mendoza. This space will include in its agenda a welcome cocktail, a full-day training, and a visit to a prestigious winery in Mendoza.
The agenda confirmed and detailed exclusively by the organizers is as follows:
In parallel, during the third day, the 66th ALEA Extraordinary Assembly will be held, the closing meeting of the year of the association with its members. In its usual format, it will be a closed and exclusive meeting for members of the entity, and, at the end of the Assembly, regulators and guests will have the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive closing dinner at a prestigious winery in Mendoza.
"Mendoza was chosen for its tourist beauty, its gastronomic offer, and its renowned vineyards. Besides, it is currently one of the provinces that are in the global industry's sights, due to the opening of online gaming and the renewal of licenses", the organizers explained.
Mario Trucco, Executive Director of ALEA, said: "For our 66th Assembly at the end of the year, we proposed to offer a space for the meeting between national and international regulators and operators, a networking oriented to online gaming, and in a format like the one we participated in with a very good experience in SAGSE Talks, in March 2022."
For her part, Ida López, president of the Provincial Institute of Games and Casinos and first vice-president of ALEA, highlighted: "Mendoza is proud to host a meeting of such magnitude, which gathers the main national and international regulators and operators."
"We will take advantage of the event to carry out a federal exchange, join efforts and make work and management contributions for the development of both land-based and online gaming, within the framework of responsible gaming," she further stated.
Alan Burak, Vice President of Monografie (SAGSE), added: "The development of this type of meeting provides the ideal framework to unite all the regulators of Argentina with private entrepreneurs, both in land-based and online gaming. In short, we believe it is an interesting way to close the year."
